The State, which can be considered equivalent to the self-concept or the will, is characterized by its freedom and therefore by its infinity. Consequently, the notion of the State existing among other States that impose limits on it is contradictory. Moreover, it is unproductive to establish a dichotomy between absolute and relative freedom, assigning unlimited freedom to the State in internal affairs and only relative freedom in external affairs.
