Condições fonotácticas e a sua realização na afixação derivacional em mirandês: uma análise contrastiva com português, castelhano e galego
摘要
This paper contrastively analyses the phonotactic conditions of the initial syllable of the Ibero-Romance languages Portuguese, Castilian, Mirandese and Galician and the phonological realizations of prefixes and derivational circumfixes that operate in the formation of negation lexemes and verbs in these languages. In contrast to Portuguese, Galician and Castilian, Mirandese does not admit initial syllables consisting of: These phonotactic conditions, which oppose Mirandese, on the one hand, and Portuguese, Castilian and Galician, on the other, have effects at the level of derivational morphology. The negation affix (in-) and the illative affix (en-), which, in Portuguese, Spanish and Galician, have a front vowel (e.g. impossível, imposible; imposible; entrançar, entrenzar, entrenzar), in Mirandese provide a central vowel (ampossible; antrançar). In the three languages that have a front vowel in the initial syllable, there is no homonymy between the illative affix and the negation affix, while in Mirandese the two are homonyms. The phonotactic condition ii) also presents a contrast in the derivational morphology between Mirandese and the other languages. In these, the negation affix des- occurs, while in Mirandese the corresponding affix is z-.
