Advances in stable isotope profling (SIP) techniques to track plant–microbial interactions
摘要
Soil microorganisms play a central role in agriculture. They interact with plants, affecting productivity and crop yield. They defend against disease, protect against nutrient loss, and build soil carbon. Soil microbes also cause disease, promote nutrient loss, degrade soil carbon, and alter gas emissions, with aggregated effects large enough to influence climate.
