Organic dairy farming in Europe: building on the past to develop the future
摘要
Organic farming was first formally defined and established in different contextrelevant forms during the past century and is one of the leading alternatives to contemporary industrialised farming and food systems. It has developed into a farming system defined through its own set of standards, which are now embedded within European Union (EU) regulations. EU countries are committed to 25% of their national farmland being cultivated under organic certification by 2030.
