Developing good agricultural practices (GAP) across global agri-food supply chains: challenges and opportunities

Good agricultural practices (GAP) are a ‘collection of principles to apply for on-farm production and post-production [post-harvest or post-slaughter] processes, resulting in safe and healthy food and non-food agriculture products, while taking into account economic, social and environmental sustainability’ (UN FAO, 2016, p. 1).
