With all the hype surrounding AI, it’s important to remember that businesses are still accountable to shareholders, investors, and their employees to turn around a profit. Therefore, as enticing as AI might sound, it will still require a business case to fund the investment. Depending on your organization, there will be different requirements for building these business cases along with a variety of internal review processes. As someone that has helped create business cases for dozens of organizations, the only constant that I can share is that every organization handles business case reviews wildly differently.
