The advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies has transformed how devices talk to one another and has formed interlinked environments that permeate every facet of contemporary existence, spanning areas like healthcare, connected homes, automated industries, and modern farming. Nevertheless, the burgeoning expansion of IoT devices has also raised significant concerns regarding energy consumption, environmental sustainability, and the long-term viability of the actual systems.[2] This chapter examines the intersection of IoT and green networking, highlighting the importance of networking energy-efficient design in today's connected world.
