This chapter gets the reader acquainted with some essential theoretical concepts on computer vision and convolutional neural networks (CNNs) in particular. It also dives into an image classification project, gradually adding more and more features. The main aim of this chapter is to equip the reader to tackle any new image classification problem confidently.
