As enterprises grapple with the complexity of securing AI agents, it has become clear that traditional identity governance models—focused on static users, service accounts, and API keys—are no longer sufficient. Autonomous agents that learn, adapt, and act independently require a fundamentally new approach to identity governance. This chapter introduces the RAISE Framework, a five-pillar model for organizations seeking to operationalize governance, risk mitigation, and control for AI identities at scale.
