In this chapter, we'll dive deeper into components in Bootstrap 5.3. So far in the book, we've managed to avoid tackling them head-on. There was a very practical reason for this approach: using components in Bootstrap without properly understanding the underlying history, techniques, and principles would lead to a very shallow and superficial understanding. This would hamper your ability to design truly professional web layouts with Bootstrap 5, which is the goal of this book.
