How organizations innovate is being transformed by generative AI (GenAI). It automates tasks such as code generation, threat analysis, and the creation of synthetic data. But the integration of generative AI into cloud environments brings new cybersecurity challenges. This chapter examines the potential of generative AI for AWS users while also addressing many of the risks associated with it, such as adversarial attacks where attackers use generative AI against you for data leaks, model exploitation, and other cybersecurity exploitations. We will also explore how to use generative AI to help secure your AWS environment.
