Blockchain-as-a-Service
摘要
Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) represents a cloud-based architectural paradigm that democratizes blockchain technology by abstracting away the underlying infrastructure for new startups and businesses. This model allows organizations to experiment with the blockchain ecosystem without having to develop and maintain their own infrastructure. BaaS platforms usually provide pre-configured blockchain networks and nodes, APIs, and toolkits that allow enterprises to deploy decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts, as well as various blockchain-based consensus mechanisms. Modern BaaS implementations operate on a three-tier architecture: infrastructure layer (handling computation, storage, and networking), blockchain protocol layer (managing consensus, smart contracts, and chain state), and application layer (providing APIs, development tools, and monitoring capabilities). This abstraction allows enterprises to focus on business logic and application development while the platform handles complex tasks such as node provisioning, network security, and blockchain protocol updates. The following is a technical overview of the major players in the BaaS marketplace.
