For this chapter, I interviewed five role models who are modern, successful female technologists. It is important for kids to have good role models because it influences whether they want to pursue technology. From a young age, I was fortunate to get to know some female technologists. I saw them do a lot of fun projects like creating demos for 3D printers and Lego robots. By having relatable role models, it has inspired me to pursue technology so that I can do something cool like them. I wish to share these stories of how these women were inspired to pursue technology in hopes that it inspires you and your kids as well.
