摘要
By the 2010s, open source was well-established; some even said that it had "eaten the world." Free and open source software was widely accepted as a viable and thriving ecosystem by most of the tech industry. Even Microsoft became an active participant in open source, with its own set of licenses approved by the Open Source Initiative, public collaborations with the Linux community, and membership in the Apache Foundation. The old rivalries were forgotten by some but held onto with deep distrust by others. And new technologists were showing up in droves in response to the increasing demand for software developers across almost all sectors of the economy.
