I remember back in the mid- to even late 1990s looking at friends using the Internet and thinking that this didn’t look very useful and wouldn’t be of much interest to me. If you grew up around the same time, you might have thought the same thing. This Internet’s just for the young, you might have thought. Conversely you might have known nothing else other than growing up with Internet access, and the thought that the entire world didn’t have it for centuries before makes you wonder how anybody was able to achieve anything at all.
