Strategic Adaptation and Risk Management in Design
摘要
Now it’s time to make decisions about which threats to tackle first—considering how likely they are to occur and how badly it’ll hurt if not dealt with quickly. We’ll use the Adaptive Risk Response (ARR) Model, a framework that builds on traditional risk matrices by adding a time dimension. We don’t always have the time or the resources to address all threats at once, so the ARR model helps design leaders prioritize. The risk model provides a visualization of how resources could be allocated to address immediate risks and build resilience for the future. This allows designers to proactively shape creative solutions, rather than simply reacting to the problems of the present.
