This article examined the different types of library security systems used in libraries. The study outlined the common library security issues faced by LIS professionals. Studying recent trends in library security technologies in a changing era was the major purpose of this paper. In the study, libraries are strongly suggested to harness technology-based security systems to protect them from harm and danger.
