Bibliometrics technique often used to analyse the research output of given subject. In this current study, we used bibliometrics method to analyse the political science literature published between 2003–2022 (20 Years). A total of 1580 publications found related to political since subject in Scopus database. The study considered only research article and removed other type of publications such as books, book chapter, conference paper, etc. The study found that overall growth of publications in political science research. From 2003 to 2022. However, notable growth can be seen in the year 2018–2022 with 947 publications. Jawaharlal Nehru University ranked as no.1 with 128 articles followed by University of Delhi (74), University of Kashmir (40), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (29). Further, study reported that, Economic and Political Weekly is the most impactful with the highest number of publications with citation 85 (457). Political science researcher prefers to publish their paper individually which contribute 726 publications out of 1580. Furthermore, study found that more collaboration made with United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
