Today’s pupils no longer need to go to the library because of Internet access and electronic reading gadgets. Due to shifting demands from academics, instructors, and students as well as the fact that the library holdings are starting to undergo a digital revolution, the library has seen significant transformation over the last ten years. Disruptive digital technology, knowledge, and processes enable digital transformation. The main goal of digital transformation is to adapt to the digital era by impacting efficiency, innovation, and the customer experience. The primary concern is how quickly and completely organizations should shift to digital. The route toward digital transformation is challenging and encompasses many different goals, difficulties, and domains. A well-organized and coherent digital strategy is required to effectively manage technology and process transformation while implementing effective governance and delivery models. Information studies, libraries, and the information profession have changed from serving solitary institutions to assisting communities and countries. Academic libraries are those found at tertiary institutions and are designed to serve not just the faculty, staff, and students of the institution but also the local communities where they are located. Therefore, it is essential that library employees have the abilities to assist these individuals and provide them with the necessary information. As a result, library staff members must overcome the obstacle of learning new abilities.
