Conclusion
摘要
This chapter synthesizes the analytic insights gained from the examinations of film and literary works performed in previous chapters. It reflects on the important role of fictions in contesting the Philippine government’s anti-communist discourse. These fictions advance dynamic and complex figurations of revolutionary experiences that emphasize the revolution’s transformative capacity to overcome challenges, correct errors, and address the contingencies and developments in Philippine society. Their potency therefore lies in their imaginative construction of the revolution as a dynamic, complex project of liberation shaped by, and drawing its strength on, the experiences of crises and resurgence in the struggle.
