This paper presents a methodology to build a low cost sensor based on the Light Dependent Resistance (LDR) to estimate the displacement of the PVTOL on an experimental platform. An analog circuit combined with a microcontroller is used to acquire the light intensity proportional to the displacement and with a function obtained from measurements, the intensity is converted in position. The sensor is validated and compared, experimentally, with a low cost laser sensor.

摘要

This paper presents a methodology to build a low cost sensor based on the Light Dependent Resistance (LDR) to estimate the displacement of the PVTOL on an experimental platform. An analog circuit combined with a microcontroller is used to acquire the light intensity proportional to the displacement and with a function obtained from measurements, the intensity is converted in position. The sensor is validated and compared, experimentally, with a low cost laser sensor.
