Coenzyme I and Depression
摘要
Depression, a prevalent mental illness with detrimental effects on both physical and mental well-being, ranks among the most severe psychiatric disorders. Supplementation with nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) has shown promise in ameliorating depressive symptoms, potentially through its antioxidative properties. NADH supplementation does not impede the efficacy of conventional antidepressants and is devoid of adverse effects. Moreover, the inclusion of NA supplementation in antidepressant therapy regimens warrants consideration, alongside the assessment and correction of niacin deficiency.
