Bioactivities of Sea Buckthorn Phenolics and Their Anti-cancer Mechanism Toward Human Breast Cancer Cells
摘要
A general introduction of sea buckthorn phenolics is summarized, highlighting their various bioactivities including antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, cardiovascular protective, and hypoglycemic effects. Additionally, the mechanisms underlying the anti-cancer properties of sea buckthorn phenolics, particularly their regulation of the cell cycle, apoptosis pathways, and the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway in human breast cancer cells, are discussed both in vitro and in vivo.
