Implementation of Decision Tree Algorithm for Mapping Customer Satisfaction Patterns in Small Business
摘要
Customer satisfaction is significant and crucial for business. Understanding the pattern of customer satisfaction is needed to help business owners formulate the right strategy. This study aims to map customer satisfaction using real cases of small businesses, namely Kripikin. The data for this research was collected using online questionnaires and spread out to Kripikin’s customers during six months. The collected data is then processed using a machine learning process with a decision tree algorithm. The results show that in mapping customer satisfaction, there are several factors that should be carefully handled, such as the price of the product, as well as both competitiveness and affordability. Social media content and feedback systems are considered important factors that can influence customers’ perception of satisfaction. The result of this research can be implemented for some small businesses, especially those that sell snacks like Kripikin. The limitations of this study are from the business cases raised, which may be different if implemented in other types of businesses.
