Ancient Path of Qinling Mountains: Rise of the Great Han Empire Under the Advancing Secretly by an Unknown Path
摘要
At the end of the Qin Dynasty, the extreme extravagance and excessive taxation of the rulers led to widespread complaints among the people, and the strict laws of the Qin Dynasty left the people with nowhere to go. As a result, the Daze Township Uprising led by Chen Sheng and Wu Guang finally broke out, marking the first peasant uprising in Chinese history. Among many uprising armies, although Liu Bang led his army to attack Xianyang first, he was forced by the powerful Xiang Yu to withdraw from Guanzhong and led his troops to retreat to Hanzhong. To confuse and paralyze Xiang Yu, Liu Bang burned down all the plank roads along the Qinling Mountains leading from Hanzhong to Guanzhong during his retreat, expressing his determination not to return to Guanzhong again. Liu Bang, who had regrouped, dispatched Han Xin to fight back to Guanzhong and compete for the world.
