Breast imaging serves as a cornerstone in the early detection and management of breast pathologies. Among the myriad of findings encountered, “do not touch” lesions represent a subset of definitively benign abnormalities falling within the BIRADS II category. These lesions, while benign in nature, may pose a diagnostic challenge due to their potential resemblance to malignant entities. Therefore, radiologists must possess an understanding of these lesions to confidently differentiate them from worrisome findings, thereby sparing patients from unnecessary interventions and associated distress. This chapter provides a comprehensive analysis of “do not touch” lesions in breast imaging and highlights the significance of interdisciplinary collaboration, promoting effective communication among radiologists, clinicians, and patients to enhance patient care outcomes.
