With its capacity for multiplexing, high throughput screening, and intuitive interface, flow cytometry has gained traction in the cosmetics and personal care products (PCPs) industries. This chapter delves into the imperative of scrutinizing ingredients and formulations of PCPs to ensure consumer safety, regulatory compliance, and innovation in product development. Additionally, the chapter explores how flow cytometry facilitates immunophenotypic analysis by detecting surface markers.
