Microblading and Micropigmentation
摘要
Micropigmentation, also known as tattooing, is the act of evenly implanting tiny, metabolically inert pigment granules into the dermis with the aid of manually or electrically propelled needles. It may be used to conceal scars and pigmentary issues or to imprint impressions and designs on healthy skin. Tattoos with artistic designs are rather widespread in today’s society, despite being historically connected to sailors and criminals. Tattooing is strongly associated with high-risk behaviours in youths, including early sexual activity, substance abuse, interpersonal violence and academic failure. As a result, tattoos might operate as a durable and visible marker for a teen involved in a high-risk activity. Both freshly created names, ‘micropigmentation’ and ‘dermatography’, reflect the aesthetic usage of tattooing for medical purposes.
