Improving Results and Its Longevity—Pillar and Tie-Beam Technique of Filler Placement
摘要
Facial ageing is a complex combination of skin texture changes and loss of facial volume. It reflects the dynamic and cumulative impacts of time on the skin, soft tissues, and underlying structural components of the face. Each component of the skin and subcutaneous soft tissues, including the fat, muscle, and fascia, as well as the structural support offered by the bones and dentition, are all impacted by ageing. Effects of gravity, sun damage, smoking, and hormonal imbalances add to this. It has been discovered that the overall result of ageing is a decrease in facial volume and skin texture [1].
