Environmental Aspects and Electrical Energy Generation
摘要
This chapter explores the correlation between the production of electrical energy and environmental factors, focusing on sustainable approaches. The text examines conventional energy sources such as coal, natural gas, and nuclear power, emphasizing their ecological consequences, particularly the release of greenhouse gases and pollution. The discussion then transitions to renewable energy sources, namely, solar, wind, hydro, and bioenergy, and explores their capacity to mitigate environmental damage. This chapter comprehensively elucidates significant strategies such as carbon capture, enhanced land use, and optimized distribution networks. The need for sustainable practices in the energy industry to ensure an environmentally friendly and resilient energy future is highlighted, along with the discussion of policy frameworks and international initiatives for sustainable development.
