Despite all the efforts to limit morbidity and mortality, the massive rise in cases has exhausted the entire health system. Beyond any public health interventions, based on very limited understanding, several drugs have been considered as treatment modality for SARS-CoV-2 infection [2, 3]. The present case study deals with generating evidence on treatment regimens and their contribution in changing global policy.
