This book has explored various facets of human pose analysis, spanning from 2D and 3D human pose estimation to 3D human head pose estimation and prediction, each addressing critical challenges in the field of computer vision and human-centered automation systems. This book first laid the groundwork of human pose analysis by introducing the backgrounds of human body and head pose analysis and kinematics of human body and reviewing state-of-the-art datasets and evaluation metrics that are widely used for human pose analysis. Three main parts are presented in this book.
