This research addresses the treatment given to the acts and speeches made by extremist groups of the right-wing in the media. The rise of the radical right in Western democracies today challenges the ethics of professional journalism. The violent actions of this group violate the integrity of other groups or individuals, using freedom of expression as an excuse. Having a place in journalistic media seeks to give legitimacy to their actions, even if they attempt against the construction of a more egalitarian society. The research was carried out under the PRISMA method, which facilitated access to 15 documents from the SCOPUS database. The main limitation that arose was that no information was found in Ibero-America. For this reason, demographics were changed to America and Europe. Another limitation was that of language, since English turned out to be the predominant one. Finally, the research topic has much to deepen, so other collaborators and students are invited to provide information on the treatment of hate speech in the media.
