A Study on Closed-Loop Dual-Channel Supply Chain with Advertising Level of Online Products
摘要
The present study investigates the role of efficient advertisement on the economic and environmentally sustainable policies of any closed-loop supply chain. While it’s unique contribution includes the concurrent consideration of the dual-channel approach to sell products through online and retail channels both, this study adopts the well-established advertisement policy for the manufacturer. Also, this research aims to reduce the environmental impact through the collection and subsequent remanufacturing of used-item by the manufacturer. The well-established KKT conditions are employed to show the global concavity of the net profit of the proposed model subject to certain real-life based constraints. The findings provide managers with reassurance that planned dual-channel activity is advantageous for the environment. Furthermore, customers’ awareness of pricing changes in both channels is proportional to the advertising level and will significantly increase the manufacturer’s profits.
