This concluding chapter identifies four key issues for each of the three change dimensions discussed in this book (sustainability, the CE and digital technology deployment), plus two further issues that apply to all three change dimensions—the impact of regulation and governance, and the significance of stakeholder influence. This provides the basis for the development of a maturity model specifying four levels of sustainability and circular practice, similar classifications for digital technology deployment, and illustrative profile definitions for companies in the T&C industry. These models may be of value in subsequent research studies that aim to advance the transition to circularity in the T&C industry.
