This paper presents the comparison among various types of microstrip patch antennas at Ka band with the recently reported literature on state of art design of circularly polarized slotted antenna. This paper also provides the better understanding about design methodology and antenna parameters with respect to return loss, axial ratio (in case of circularly polarized), realized gain, etc. at Ka band. This simulation is done by using design software of HFSS. In this design microstrip feed is used for delivering power to the patch. Simulated patch obtained excellent bandwidth, axial ratio, return loss and available gain at Ka band (26.5–32 GHz).

摘要

This paper presents the comparison among various types of microstrip patch antennas at Ka band with the recently reported literature on state of art design of circularly polarized slotted antenna. This paper also provides the better understanding about design methodology and antenna parameters with respect to return loss, axial ratio (in case of circularly polarized), realized gain, etc. at Ka band. This simulation is done by using design software of HFSS. In this design microstrip feed is used for delivering power to the patch. Simulated patch obtained excellent bandwidth, axial ratio, return loss and available gain at Ka band (26.5–32 GHz).
