Enhancing Secure and Efficient Communication in Free-Space Optical Networks Using Spectral Amplitude Coding - OCDMA Technology
摘要
A spectral amplitude coding optical code division multiple access (SAC OCDMA) system for free-space optical communication has been presented in this paper. The SAC method provides concurrent transmission and reception without interference. OCDMA is a method that employs orthogonal codes to mitigate the risks of surveillance and unauthorized access. Despite its susceptibility to environmental conditions, the FSO medium is chosen due to its high data transmission rates. The Gamma-Gamma turbulence model is used as an FSO channel, and the various signal attenuations in weather conditions have been studied in this work. The bit error rate at the receiver, eye diagram, received power, and geometrical loss are observed for various FSO link ranges. Incorporating SAC OCDMA within an FSO communication framework can provide efficient data transmission with increased speed, enhanced security, and dependability in challenging environments. The maximum supported FSO link lengths under weather conditions are analyzed.
