In order to build a set of perfect underground pipeline management system, it is firstly necessary to detect and record the paths of underground pipelines. In this paper, the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of air-soil half-space are studied, and a numerical model of electromagnetic scattering of underground pipeline targets based on FDTD algorithm is established with MATLAB, and the results prove that the maximum error of this algorithm model is only 16.1% compared with MoM algorithm. Secondly, the influence of four different factors on the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the target body of the underground pipeline is considered.
