Wind Storage Cooperative Frequency Control Strategy Considering Wind Speed Intervals

This paper proposes a wind storage coordination control strategy considering the differences in wind speed. The wind speed is divided into three different wind speed intervals: high, medium and low. In the high wind speed interval, the energy storage adaptive participation in frequency regulation; in the middle wind speed interval, the comprehensive consideration of the maximum frequency deviation and the second fall and other conditions, the wind farm inertia - sag coefficient rectification, in order to adapt to the wind speed interval of the frequency regulation needs; in the low wind speed section, due to the rotor kinetic energy is limited, the energy storage auxiliary wind power to participate in the frequency regulation control, to speed up the wind turbine rotor speed restoration and inhibit the second fall.
