Study of Power Generation Characteristics of a Linear Generator with Magnetic Damping Function
摘要
The onboard power supply of electrodynamic suspension (EDS) trains is an important issue, and the contactless power supply of EDS can be achieved by installing a generator coil on the side of the train using the harmonic magnetic field of the ground coil. At the same time, due to the negative damping characteristics of the EDS, a zero-phase voltage that can be used to generate magnetic damping can be generated by controlling the irregular arrangement of the power generation coils. This approach avoids the need to install additional damping coils and can reduce the weight of the vehicle. At the same time, the gap between the superconducting(SC) coil and the ground coil can be reduced, thus reducing energy consumption. Therefore, we investigated the power generation characteristics of a linear generator capable of generating zero-phase voltage. This study elucidates the generator's power generation characteristics and provides a preliminary analysis of the relationship between the zero-phase voltage and the operating state of the EDS. Finally, the correctness of the model is verified by experimental data to provide a reference for the design of vibration-damping multipurpose generators for vehicle power supply.
