Characteristics of grey system theory will be analyzed based on analysis of general characteristics of uncertain systems. Then, the simplicity principle of sciences will be introduced. Similarities and differences of several uncertainty methods, such as probability statistics, fuzzy mathematics, grey system theory and rough set theory will be analyzed. At last of the chapter, The author will showcase successful applications of grey system theory in the field of natural sciences, social sciences and engineering technologies.
