In the present corporate environment, business organizations prioritize corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. To find the extent to which these activities impact the workforce of the organizations thereby leading to employee engagement, commitment, and employer branding, we have undertaken this study. It is very beneficial for organizations if they approach CSR with an employee engagement perspective, so our study aims to find a relationship between CSR and human resource (HR) practices of prominent companies in India. For our study, we have taken various Indian companies based on CSR spending and HR-linked CSR initiatives and found how these activities positively affect the employees of the organization. Using qualitative methodology, we analyzed the selected companies’ corporate social responsibility reports, environment sustainability reports, and annual reports. We collected the relevant excerpts and did a thematic analysis of the extracted content. We then compared them against the reviews of the employees about their organizations. We were able to understand that these initiatives have a great impact on multiple areas of human resource management. Our work was created to find the relationship between CSR and HRM.
