The Framework of General Channel Key Generation Based on Physical Layer
摘要
In the rapidly evolving landscape of wireless communication, ensuring secure data transmission has become increasingly critical due to the inherent vulnerabilities of wireless channels. This paper introduces a novel framework for constructing a generalized physical layer-based key generation scheme, addressing the need for secure communication across diverse wireless environments. The proposed framework encompasses phases for measurement integration, measurement classification, fitness quantization, and key updates, all aimed at enhancing the overall performance of generated channel keys. We present preliminary experimental results on measurement value classification and provide a detailed analysis. Criteria for appropriate quantization techniques for classified data are also established. Furthermore, a GUI interface has been developed to dynamically demonstrate the implementation process of the framework, allowing for scenario-specific tuning to optimize performance. This work offers a comprehensive conceptual foundation for developing a versatile, scalable, and secure key generation scheme suitable for various applications, from IoT devices to vehicular networks.
