DoS is an automated attack that makes websites (servers) and applications unavailable. Cyber attackers will make most DoS attacks to make the system down. DDoS attacks multiple attackers will target one system. Attackers will send requests more than the application server can handle so that genuine users can’t get access. Distributed denial of service (DDoS) will cause application downtime and server crashes so legitimate users/traffic can’t access web applications. DDoS is used to break the reputation and brand of a business.
