Cloud computing is an emerging technologies with many benefits that can be beneficial too for banks and financial institutes for storing their data by resolving the security issues. In this chapter, using an enhanced signcryption system based on an elliptic curve that has good security properties and cheap computational costs, we have suggested a method for safely storing financial data in cloud storage. The security of our proposed method is based on the challenges of the discrete logarithm issue on elliptic curves, which is nearly impossible to solve in polynomial time. In terms of security characteristics and the sophisticated mathematical processes used in the algorithm, we have also compared our suggested scheme to existing effective systems.
