Artificial intelligence, a term coined by John McCarthy in 1955, is a generic term for learning machines. With the advent of neural networks mimicking the complex hierarchy of human brains, new possibilities for the generation of sequences in words, contextual sentences, and paragraphs that may result in behavioral-based attitudes have represented a breakthrough in computer systems, data storage, and innovation. One of the learning machines’ abilities is to perform several tasks, often self-supervised, on a large scale with an immense amount of data collected from human experiences by pre-trained large language models with the capacity for independence in the decision-making process of recognizing facts and actions. In light of these technological marvels, we discuss the concept of humanity in recent inventions named artificial brains implanted in the cerebrum for medical purposes such as alleviation of the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, a verbal disorder as aphasia and physical limitations. With reinforcement learning, the boundaries between machines and humans are merged into one.

Artificial Intelligence and the Human Brain: Two Minds with a Single Thought, the Legal Problem of Inventorship in Artificial Brains

Artificial intelligence, a term coined by John McCarthy in 1955, is a generic term for learning machines. With the advent of neural networks mimicking the complex hierarchy of human brains, new possibilities for the generation of sequences in words, contextual sentences, and paragraphs that may result in behavioral-based attitudes have represented a breakthrough in computer systems, data storage, and innovation.
