Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries: Performance Insights and Innovative Applications for a Greener Future
摘要
Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFBs) have emerged as a promising energy storage technology, offering scalability, long cycle life, and enhanced safety features. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of VRFB performance metrics, shedding light on their efficiency, and self-discharge rates. Beyond performance evaluation, the paper explores a diverse range of innovative applications for VRFBs in the context of a sustainable energy landscape. This work also bridges the gap between theoretical advancements and practical implementation, providing valuable insights for policymakers, energy engineers, and stakeholders in the renewable energy sector. It has been found that changing cell resistance will increase efficiency by 5.25% and while capacity increased by 12.8 kWh. The findings presented herein not only underscore the performance capabilities of VRFBs but also illuminate the path toward their widespread adoption, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious global energy paradigm.
