Mathesis Press, 1973; Young, Paper presented at U.S.-Japan Seminar on MDS, San Diego, U.S.A., 1975; Hayashi, Proceedings of the 45-th annual conference of Japan Statistical Society at Fukuoka University, 1977). But as Young (Paper presented at U.S.-Japan Seminar on MDS, San Diego, U.S.A., 1975) argued, there have been relatively few applications of this feature.
