Chemical Treatment of Electronic Waste: Challenges and Solutions

The advancement of the existing lifestyle of the people which is quite adaptive toward the current technology development has shown a great jump toward economic growth. This advancement globally has also resulted in the production of electronic waste products (E-waste) which has been of great environmental concern and health issues. The current market has been introducing new equipment whether it is related to regular household electronic equipment leisure equipment, toys, mobile phones, and laptops. The introduction of new e-products and expeditiously out-of-date usage of the previous products or the companies, in general, do not manufacture the e-products parts nowadays. Instead, they provide new and advanced versions of the same product led to the increment of the E-waste materials in the surroundings as well. This major and challenging issue which has been studied here includes the recent development, challenges, and the panorama of E-waste. The composition of the E-waste should be taken into priority for the solution as for say, collection, treatment, and further, remodeling via recycle. The major challenges are basically collection to categorize the E-waste content, further avoidance of the waste, emission, and inexpensive recycling. A collective method from worldwide involving national and international organizations including the awareness in public is essential to management of the E-waste which is the need of the time.
