This chapter introduces the concept of postdigital ecologies for civilization. Starting from the Great Convergence between science and technology, it briefly examines the many contemporary convergences including the biodigital convergence, postdigital convergence, and bioeconomy. Passing through higher-level convergences such as the biodigital-postdigital convergence, the chapter offers and in-depth exploration of the convergence of postdigital ecopedagogies and AI-driven ecosystems. This convergence is more than a handy meeting of two fields of inquiry; it is also necessary to ensure sustainable and just development of species learning for survival.
